The Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity again carried off first place honors in the fraternity scholastic ratings for the present college year with an average of 3.031. This average is well ahead of the second-best rating of 2.78S made by Pi Lambda Phi, while Gamma Delta Epsilon holds third position with 2.539.

The average attained by all the fraternities is 2.296, an increase of .031 over last year, but this is .088 less than that of the non-fraternity men in the three upper classes. The aggregate college average indicates steadily improving marks, for in 1925-26 the average was 2.126, in 1926-27 it was 2.185 while this last semester it has increased .94 to 2.279. The freshman average of 2.048 last semester, although higher than ever before, was considerably less than the college average.
