In at least one respect the 35-year reunion of the class of 1893 was the most successful the class has held; there being present more wives, sons, and daughters than at any previous reunion. The good looks, good manners, and good sense displayed by the youngsters demonstrated what good judgment men of '93 have used in choosing their wives.
Class headquarters were in Richardson, and the only formal event added to the college program for Commencement was the class dinner at College Hall Monday evening. Sunday night, however, those in town motored up to the Alden Tavern in Lyme for a beefsteak supper, which was much enjoyed. There were no set speeches at the dinner, but every memb er present was heard from briefly.
The greatest enthusiasm was aroused by the declaration of President Cox that while the past five years had been uneventful in the history of the class they had contained for him the greatest event of his life, referring to his marriage. Another high light was Kinney's account of his fight against physical disability and the doors of a richer life that had opened before him through the manifestations of friendship, sympathy, and help that had come to him.
The Secretary fears that he did not succeed in getting a complete registration of all connected with '93 who were in town during Commencement, but on his list are W. G. Aborn, Mount Vernon, N. Y.; R. H. Baker, Concord, N. H., with Mrs. Baker, son, John, and Mrs. Baker's sister, Mrs. Lull; Morton D. Benton of Suffield, Conn., son of the late Frank A. Benton '93; Rev.
