Mrs. George T. Tuttle, relict of Dr. George T. Tuttle '72, sailed for Europe and Asia on the steamship Conte Grande on January 5. During his lifetime her husband had been one of the leading participants in what the class has termed the Roll of Honor upon the Tucker Alumni Fund. Mrs. Tuttle voluntarily and without solicitation became the first widow of the class, if not of all classes, to tender an offer to join the class of '72 in place of her husband and to continue his liberal contributions to the Fund. Before sailing she forwarded her second remittance. Her unusual liberality has received the recognition not only of the survivors of the class of '72, but also of the officials in charge of the Fund. Mrs. Tuttle is taking an extended and deliberate tour, in a private party of five ladies, through Italy, Palestine, Sicily, and France.
