The annual Christmas luncheon was held at Hotel Statler on Saturday, December 22. This party is held principally for the boys who are planning to enter Dartmouth next fall, together with their fathers. One hundred thirty members, undergraduates, and guests attended.

Fletch Andrews, president, acted as toastmaster; and short talks were given by two undergraduates, Henry Odbert and Carl Spaeth, the latter having recently been awarded a Rhodes Scholarship. The principal speaker at this occasion was Charles Whitehair, father of Jay Whitehair, who is a freshman at Dartmouth and who made a creditable showing on the freshman team at end the past fall. Mr. Whitehair gave an interesting description of his experiences at Hanover and the impressions received in his associations with Dartmouth men. His remarks were of great interest to the guests present, because he emphasized the points which influenced him in being desirous of having his son enter Dartmouth College.

Bud Petrequin was the movie operator, and we were fortunate in being able to show the first films of the Dartmouth College News. Bud probably thought that an appropriate title would have been "Life in Hanover in Two Busted Reels." However, having needle and thread handy, the pictures were shown with but little delay.
