Wendell Williams has been suffering the ministrations of doctors and nurses at his home in Milford, Mass., but is now regaining health and hopes to spend the summer at Lake Placid, N. Y.

Our 24th Class Report of 1933 says that F. Charles Avery had resigned his position as Principal of the Stamford High School, after twenty-four years of service. Since that time Avery has been a lost member. He is retired from all teaching and lives in his attractive home in Stamford, Conn., where he indulges his hobby of collecting antiques, particularly clocks.

It is good to learn that the Ben Simonds' family is well and prospering. Ben's elder son, Carlton, was in war work during the four years of turmoil, but now hopes to be located in New England. He is married and has a son, and daughter, Ruth, who will graduate from the Pottsville, Pa., High School this year. Robert Simonds, the younger son, is married and has two children. He is with the Federal Power Co., in Washington. The daughter Marian, named for her mother, is married and lives in New York City. She has one son. Ben and his good influence in this world was lost to our members much too early in years, but having known Marian, his wife, since childhood, and her splendid ancestry, it is certain the Simonds family has never lacked the finest qualities in a guiding hand.

All will regret the passing of Mrs. Fred L. Pattee, April 30, at their home in Coronado Beach, Florida, at the age of 83. She had suffered two cerebral hemorrhages and was a partial invalid, but a third proved fatal in three days. Pattee's second marriage to Mrs. Grace Garee in 1928 was an ideal one. She had been a religious worker for the Presbyterian Church in three states and at one time had two offices, one in Washington, D. C., and another in Baltimore, Md., where she was very influential. She worked with children and established daily work for them in the churches. The funeral was at Coronado Beach, and burial at Bristol, N. H., the home town of Pattee.
