Invitations have been sent for the marriage of Sherman Everett Burroughs, Jr., lieutenant, junior grade, United States Navy, to Katherine Porter Earle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kendall Earle, on Wednesday, April 10, at Christ Church, Coronado, Cal.
John Pearl Gifford has been chosen president of the Vermont Dartmouth Alumni Association. He has also received the lesser honor of being elected a member of the American College of Surgeons, although if he had a chance to read the proof he might strike out the adjective.
Secretary Charles Clarkson Merrill lately celebrated his birthday with John Gifford. No information is given as to which one.
Secretary Merrill reports a meeting February 25 to talk over the 1929 reunion. Ted Allen, Bud Lyon, Matt Jones, and Charley Berry were present. Bud was chosen toastmaster by the all but unanimous vote of the gathering.
