In The Hartford Courant last October was a stunning photo of our old friend TimFoster. Clad in an M.B.A.-approved suit and towing a briefcase, he was standing next to what appeared to be a miniature musk ox. On the contrary, Tim was posing with a member of his herd of Scottish Highland cattle on his farm in Canton, Conn. The challenge of being a portfolio manager for Cigna Corporation of Hartford wasn't enough, so he became a parttime farmer. Tim considers his small herd "low maintenance" as farm commodities go and gets his lawn trimmed at no charge.

A recent news release reports that BobEnd has been promoted to investment officer in the securities department at the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in Milwaukee. Bob has an M.B.A. from Tuck and has been with Northwestern since 1982. He is also president of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Wisconsin. Bob and Trisha have one child and live in Milwaukee.

Samuel "Q" Belk graduated from the Stanford Business School last June and currently works for First Boston Corporation in San Francisco. He lives in Muir Beach on the cliffs above the Pacific and notes that he plans to climb Everest in 1987. Today Mt. Moosilauke, tomorrow the world.

From Wheaton, III., Bill and ShirleyKlupchak write that they have a new addition to their household; George William arrived on the scene last September. In another chit Jim Truncellito says that he is still in the life insurance field. He and Lynda live with their two children just outside Manchester, N.H.

In the very-brief message department are the following: Scott Engles has been working the past year with Hewlett-Packard in Fort Collins, Colo., doing software engineering. Roger Ulrich received his Ph.D. from Yale and is professor at Rice University in Houston. Lastly, MorganConrad is whooping it up at Becton Dickinson out in Mountainview, Calif. When not at work, he is sailing or crashing the volleyball scene.

Drew Kintzinger would want me to remind you to jump in and be part of the Alumni Fund this year. The College thanks you for your support. Till June
