The Herman Parkinsons have recently changed their address to 49 South Manor Drive, White Plains, N.Y., where they have purchased a new one-story house. The November issue of the MAGAZINE carried a picture o£ Rev. Arthur Wheelock '14. Herman sang in Mr. Wheelock's choir until he was forced 10 stop on account of his health.
Chester Dudley Ward died in November in Spartanburg, S. C. Many will remember him from our freshman year. Notice will be found in the obituary section.
The sympathy of the entire class is extended to Red Spillane. His wife Grace died suddenly on Christmas eve at about 10 o'clock in the Hartford Hospital where she had been admitted that afternoon. In addition to Red she is survived by Dr. Richard J. Spillane '41, associated with his father, Grace and Bob and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at St. John's Episcopal Church, West Hartford on December 27. Grace will be greatly missed by the host of friends she made in the Class at reunions, and those of us who knew her at Hartford and Lake Sunapee, N. H.
Martha and Judge Hugus had their three grandchildren for Christmas at Wheeling, W. Va. Judge was recovering from a bronchitis attack which put him to bed for awhile.
Charlie and Marian Archer are now at Ozona, Fla. - Box 246 will reach them. Edmund Freeman is at home in Washington nursing a broken left arm in a cast. He was struck by a car at a crossing in Washington.
Bart and Renza Shepard's card had pictures of the four grandchildren.
The Secretary had many cards and messages for which thanks to all. It will take some months to answer all individually.
Walter and Irene Nolan are moving from Billerica to Woonsocket, R. I., 428 Blackstone Street, where Harvey and his family now live.
Chuck and Barbara Riley, from Cape Cod, have taken a house at Bellair Beach in Florida for three months George and Grace Stiles are at Hollywood, Fla,, for three months or more. The General Willsons are at 112 Gleason Street, Delray Beach, Fla., until June.
Wallace McCoy "Mac," from the Parsonage, 208 West Smith Street, Montour Falls, N.Y., sent his annual Christmas letter with news of and the doings of the McCoy Clan - a very welcome addition to the Christmas season. All are well, including his mother, now 89 her next birthday, who is up and around the house all day long, helping with meals, washing dishes, dusting, sweeping, ironing, etc. "The Preacher and his wife both keep well."
Earl H. Rodney is now at Ritz Towers Hotel, Park Avenue, at 57 th Street, New York City, and Fred Hovey still at 257 Greene Road, Manchester, Conn.
The Rev. Walter D. Knight '14 (right) with Rev. G. E. Bevans and Rev. E. C. Blake at the November 28 ceremony when he was installed as the first executive of the New England Synod of the Presbyterian Church. For the past 20 years he has been New England field representative for the Presbyterian Church.
