The hockey team finished the schedule with two games. The first, with the Melrose Greyhounds, was lost by a 4-2 score, and if the opposition is not well known, a word of explanation is in order. The Melrose team carried four former Dartmouth captains in its lineup (Ted Learned '24, John Manser 25, Doug Everett '26 and Sykes Hardy '27) and these men are all prominent in University Club and B. A. A. hockey in Boston.
The final game of the season saw the Green beat Princeton in Boston 5-0, thus atoning for a previous tie game. Dartmouth, by her season's showing, deserved high recognition in ranking, and stands, with Harvard, Yale and Princeton, as the best in this section of the country. Harold Booma will lead nextyear's outfit, which loses a great many veterans.
