Through an Associated Press item from Montpelier, dated March 13, we learn that during a recess of the House of Representatives, Congressman Brigham and John Barrett paid tributes to Calvin and Mrs. Coolidge.

Rev. Ozora S. Davis, D.D., moderator of the National Council of Congregational Churches and president of the Chicago Theological Seminary, preached the dedicatory sermon at the First Congregational church, St. Louis, March 17. This is the fourth edifice which this vigorous church has built in its seventy-seven years of activity. In the evening at the service of WorldWide Fellowship, Dr. Davis preached the missionary sermon. Between these two services, Ozora had given an address on "Making Our World" at the Washington University vesper service. The following evening found him back home addressing the Chicago Congregational Club. Even for a seasoned public speaker this seems to the Secretary like a too rapid pace. It is, therefore, a satisfaction to know that on Tuesday he started with Mrs. Davis, for a ten days' trip to Florida.

Wellman is busy rounding up the class quota for the Alumni Fund. He has also recently joined the group of happy grandfathers.

On March 9, the following five, Cutler, Doane, Frost, Hale, and Blakely, met at the University Club for one of the occasional '89 luncheons.
