Charles Francis Abbott died at bis home in Middlebury, Vt., April 27. The funeral was in Middlebury on April 29, and the interment in Claremont, N. H. on April 30. Three of his classmates, Walter D. Cobb, W. O. Smith, and Frank E. Rowe, were present at the interment. A fuller obituary notice appears elsewhere.

E. D. Burbank is on his way East from California, and expects to arrive at Saco, Me., at his brother's home, 113 Temple St., about the first of June. If possible, he will stop over in Boston to see some of his classmates.

Robert L. Doring is busy building a dam and power house on the Beaver River for the Power Corporation of New York. This is a project involving about $3,000,000. Doring writes that he has been connected with this concern for three years. The May ALUMNI MAGAZINE on page 470 contains a picture of the tug-of-war team of 1890 of which Doring was a member.

The May 10 edition of the Leader, Manchester, N. H., contains a full length picture of Rev. Francis M. Banfil, rector of St. Matthew's Episcopal church, Goffstown, N. H., who has recently completed ten years of service in the parish without being absent from a Sunday service.

At the 168 th session of the South Middlesex (Unitarian) Conference, held at the First Unitarian church of Woburn, Mass., Fred W. Woodcock of Newtonville was elected president for the ensuing year.
