The new officers of the club, elected from the membership of the Executive Committee at the annual dinner meeting given at the Saturn Club, are: President, Les Lambert '21; Vice President, Charlie Winkler '35; Treasurer, Lew. Harriman Jr. '38 and Secretary, Jack Cowan '40.
At the aforementioned dinner meeting Hugh Johnson '30, our Alumni Council member, told of the happenings at the recent Council meeting in Hanover.
Your attention is again called to the fact that the regular monthly luncheon is held the last Tuesday in each month at 12:15 in a private dining room at the Buffalo Athletic Club. The Executive Council meets at this time, but all members are urged to attend. Mark it down on your calendar today 1
Nine members were present at the last luncheon in addition to a guest, George Sexton 41* of New York. The following members were selected to be chairmen of committees for the Glee Club concert: General Chairman, LesLambert '21; Financial, Lew Harriman Jr. '38; Publicity, Paul Meegan '45; Tickets, Ed Marlette '41; Program, Bill Hart '42; and Arrangements, Jack Cowan '4O. It was the general opinion of your Executive Committee that the Dartmouth Award had outlived its usefulness and, therefore, it was decided to discontinue it.
BUFFALO BRIEFS: The club is sorry to lose Dick Burlingame '26, now Director of Personnel, Central Division, A & P, Pittsburgh, and Bob McLaughry '44, now with SoconyVacuum in Boston. Back with us again after a year's fellowship in hematology at Children's Hospital, Detroit, are Dr. George Selkirk '39 and Kay. John Cogswell '31 did a splendid job as Chairman of the Public Service Division during the Red Cross Campaign just completed. Chet Gale Jr., son of Chet '19 was a regular hockey center at Nichols School this past season and has two years to go before matriculating at Dartmouth. Eddie Jeremiah, please note!
