Emmett Hay Naylor is a member of the class of 1909. He did his law work at Harvard and New York University. He is a lawyer and economist living in Springfield, Mass.

Professor John Wesley Young of the department of mathematics is a graduate of Ohio State University, with his later degrees from Cornell. He has been assistant professor at University of Illinois and Princeton, professor at Universities of Kansas and Chicago. He has been professor at Dartmouth since 1911. He is the author, in collaboration, of six books, and a large number of special articles in various scientific journals. Since 1916 he has been chairman of the national committee on mathematical requirements and is president for 1929-30 of the American Mathematical Association.

Lieut. Barrett Studley of the U. S. Navy is a Dartmouth man in the class of 1916. His address is the place where his airplane or ship happens to be. He became a naval aviator in 1918. An excellent student in college with Phi Beta ranking he has continued his literary work since graduation and has written many articles on flying and two books, the latest of which, Practical Flight Training, has just come from Macmillan's.

Clifford Hayes Smith '79 lives in Proctor, Vermont. He served in the ministry of the Congregational church from the time of his graduation from Yale Divinity School in 1882 until 1924, a period of 42 years. His last ministry was in Burlington, Vt.

Stanley Edwards Johnson is a member of the class of 1887. He has been a publisher for many years and has had charge of the educational department of Little, Brown, & Co. in several different cities.

N. E. Disque '32 who handles the publicity in the Alumni Magazine for the Outing Club comes from Burlington, Iowa.
