The twenty-fifth reunion of the class was a huge success. Sixty-seven members of the class were present during the reunion. The classmate covering the longest distance was Lester Gibson, who traveled from San Luis Obispo, Cal. Dutch Rock had the distinction of seeing the class baby graduate on his 25th anniversary. Cloyd Maynard also saw his son graduate.
The expression everywhere from classmates was that the 25th was the best ever as a reunion.
Ame Foster is sending his son to enter the freshman class. Also the son of Col. Fletcher of Chattanooga, Tenn., will be in the freshman class.
Dr. Patrick J. Manning was present at the reunion. He furnished many a laugh, recounting his experiences in college, and especially those in the army. Much valuable information was acquired from him.
Dr. James S. Brotherhood, president of the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, was busy extolling the advantages offered to those residing in that splendid city.
The class spent three days at Waterville Valley, N. H., as the guests of David and Mrs. Austin. Everybody had a great time. Ned Willis was the outstanding golfer, and the Secretary caught a couple of six-inch trout.
The tea given by Professor and Mrs. Gray at the '99 Outing Club house on the golf course was one of the outstanding pleasures
of the reunion. Under the direction of Rev. Robert E. Marshall, assisted by Rev. Messrs. Nolan, Favour, Tubbs, and Aldrich, there was held a very impressive memorial service at St. Thomas' church. Every member of the class in Hanover attended with their families.
Harry B. Johnson was re-elected secretary, to serve for five years.
