On Washington's Birthday as your Secretary writes these notes in so-called "Sunny Florida" with strong winds and fifty degree temperature, he doesn't find Florida so hot. There are numbers of classmates trying to keep warm down here; the Robinsons at the Gulf and Bay Club in Sarasota; the Hobbs and Withams in Anna Maria; the Colonel Hinmans in Clearwater; the Edgerleys in Ormond Beach; the Websters in Lake Worth; Ike Maynard in Daytona and the Johnsons here in Vero Beach, spring training headquarters for the Los Angeles Dodgers. JackSanderson, who spent several years in Orlando, Fla., has a new address: Box 446, Bethel, Me.
The college is calling attention to the fact that Princeton plays Dartmouth at Hanover, October 10, and all facilities for rooms in Hanover are taken. If you plan to be at the game the nearest motels are in Concord, Keene and Brattleboro.
Had a nice letter from Ann Manning, who has been spending part of the winter in Atlantic City, N.J. She sends her love to all the boys.
Child Lewis from Montana is headed toward Hanover. Presently, he is in Cincinnati, Ohio, visiting with his son and family, then heading for Peekskill, N.Y., to visit his two great-granddaughters, both less than two years old. Keep rolling, old-timer!
Our Harriet Austin plans to be at the Reunion. Many of us can recall the wonderful hospitality we enjoyed when she and Dave welcomed us at the Waterville Valley Hotel in our pre-reunion round-ups. We shall be so glad to see you, Harriet!
Another sister we shall be most happy to see is our Marion Wood, who hopes to be with us. At present she is cruising in the Mediterranean, via the Norwegian-American line.
That man, Leon Webster, has been doing a great job of rounding up the class for June 12-14. Then on June 20, his granddaughter Ann is being married to Mr. Thomas Hunt. Leon and Geneva helped Beck celebrate his 82nd birthday in January, coming up from Lake Worth, Fla., for lunch with us.
Had a nice newsy letter from Ada Fellows, New Britain, Conn. Her son, Scribner at Brown University, is working for his Master's degree and then going back to the Stanley Works in June. Her son John has three children, and her daughter, who before her marriage obtained her Master's degree at Yale, is married to a professor at Oberlin. Thanks, Ada, for your nice letter.
Herbie Andrew's daughter, Eloise, came up with a grand idea of how to get Daddy to Hanover in June, a big Indian 1904 bank for quarters and half dollars only. If daily contributions to Sam Occum are made faithfully, he will have the means to be present, He sent a bank to Beck and Sally and by cuţing down on cigarettes, they think they can make it too. Thanks for the idea, Herbie. See you in June.
Eddie MacLellan writes from Santa Monica that "Jerry Hatch is most comfortably taken care of in his nursing home, reads a watches television, and both send best wishes and regrets that they will not be able to attend the reunion in June
Our Anna Uniac writes that she does not think she can be with us in June, although she is now feeling much better. We are so glad to hear that, Anna. Her grandnephew is graduating from K.U.A in June. She sends greetings to the Class. Sorry you can't join us, Anna.
Your Secretary wrote to George Hinckley '09 of Portland, Me., to learn how Harry Torrey was getting on and George reports that his condition is quite poor.

He served in World War I as a captain in the 25th Engineers, Company A After the war he was an engineer with the New York Telephone Company. His wife, Elizabeth, was a graduate of Vassar College. Their son Winston is with NBC Broadcasting Company, serving in Rome Italy. His voice is often heard by us. Mrs Burdett is confined to a nursing home in quite poor health. Messages of sympathy and respect were sent her by the Secretary on behalf of the Class. His obituary may be found in another section of this or a later issue.
Your Secretary is desperately hanging on to that 87½ % of his former self. Like the old stock market, some days he is up and others, down. He expects to make Hanover in June along with his Sally. How happy we shall be to see "You all." Cheerio!
P.S. Don't be a Beatle! They are neither a credit to the Country or the College.
