CLASS OF 1866

It is with deep regret we write that word has reached us of the sudden death by an automobile accident in Cleveland of Mrs. Harriette Benedict Sherman, wife of our distinguished classmate, Col. Henry Stoddard Sherman. Mrs. Sherman has always been loyal to the interests of the College, honoring the memory of her husband. Col. Sherman was at the head of the legal firm in Cleveland of Sherman, Hoyt, and Dustin. He died on his way to Europe in February, 1893.
