We notice that Monty Wells continues his winning ways in the indoor hurdle races, and he recently won from Sol Furth, an arch rival. Dartmouth tennis stars, Richardson and McDonald, came within an ace of winning the Larned Cup at Cornell, only Julius Seligson, the titlist, standing in their way. The track team picked up a few points in the intercollegiates when Donner took fourth place in the broad jump with a leap of 22 feet 10% inches, and Hugh Alcorn ran second to the above Furth in the 70-yard hurdles. Joe Sawyer and George Stevens were heat winners in hurdles and dash respectively, but did not place in the finals. We shall hear a lot about baseball next month, when Dartmouth heads for the South.
