Dick Goode's marriage, which was reported in the last issue, occurred on January 23. The bride was Lillian Moore of 50 Brastow Ave., Somerville, Mass., where the couple are residing at present. On March 11, Dick's father and mother celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary.
On March 15, the Lipton League, an organization made up of Harvard graduates who have won their "H" in some branch of athletics, held their annual dinner at the Harvard Club, with the honored guests from members of the Harvard and Dartmouth athletic official families. Harry Heneage was one of the speakers. Jim Reilly was present as the guest of Leverett Saltonstall, who is the present speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
Dick and Lucy Lane, who sailed from New York on March 29 on the SS. Augustus and landed at Nice, will return on the SS. Bremen, reaching New York the last week in May. Their plans included a short stay in Paris, a motor trip through the chateau country, and then three weeks or so in England with a stop in London, motoring the balance of the time.
At the annual meeting of the Farmington, N. H., school district, Charles Willson was unanimously re-elected to the board for three years.
Fred H. Baldwin has recently established at Quincy, Mass., with offices at 62 Granite Trust Building, the Baldwin Memorial Service. This concern executes commissions for the designing, building, and erecting of suitable stones for memorials in granite or marble or tablets in bronze.
