Professor Charles R. Lingley was the guest from the College of the Association at its annual banquet on March 1, 1930, and honored us with a two days' visit. Friday afternoon was devoted to mountain sight-seeing followed by a dinner at the Lakewood Country Club given by President Bob Moore, 1913. The following day was spent in motoring to Colorado Springs, with a trip through the Garden of the Gods, luncheon at the Broadmoor Hotel and some more mountain sight-seeing—the banquet that evening was attended by thirty-five and Professor Lingley's talk was a rare treat to all. Leon Williams, 1915, was elected president for the ensuing year, Joseph C. Houston, Jr., 1923, vice-president and James N. Sabin, 1921, secretary-treasurer. Following the banquet adjournment was taken to the home of Dave Main, 1906, where Professor Lingley entertained an enthusiastic group until day-light was not far off. The next day was almost disastrous, for our guest was so entertaining at luncheon at the house of Will Grant, 1903, that had the host not broken all speed ordinances Professor Lingley would have missed his train and been obliged to be an enforced guest for another day.

It may perhaps be surmised that the alumni of the Rocky Mountains are rather partial to Dr. Lingley.
