Dr. Herbert S. Hutchinson referred to in the following despatch is a member of the class of 1875.

Milford, July 11—In celebration of 50 years of medical practice. Dr. Herbert S. Hutchinson of Milford was given a surprise banquet by physicians of his acquaintance yesterday. The observance was held at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth H. Simonds of Elm St. Among doctors present were Dr. B. D. Pease of Greenville, Dr. Nathaniel F. Cheever of Greenfield, Dr. George B. Hatch of Wilton, Dr. P. E. Kittredge of Nashua, and Dr. William H. Hinds, Dr. Henry H. Dearborn, Dr. Oscar Burns, and Dr. John H. Proctor, all of Milford. Dr. Hutchinson, a graduate of Dartmouth College and Bellevue Medical College, has had a practice in Milford for forty-five years and had served five years previously at Prancestown.
