Rev. M. L. Stimson, D.D., and Mrs. Stimson are spending the winter at Coral Gables, Fla., but expect to return to their home in Atlanta, Ga., in the spring.
Lewis Parkhurst has issued a leaflet showing the progress and anticipated development of the new prison at Norfolk designed to take the place of the antiquated Bastille at Charlestown, Mass. The work has gone on quietly, mainly by the labor of inmates. The plans shown are far in advance of what has been generally understood. When construction is completed in accordance with them, Massachusetts will be well to the fore in the adequacy of her penal institutions, and Dr. Parkhurst will have scored another of the large scale achievements to which he has set his hand.
