I am on the Campus of Dartmouth College; I am escorted through the School of Business Administration and Finance; it is due entirely to the generosity of that same Edward Tuck to whom France is so indebted. They take me to the Library; they tell me that a former student, G. F. Baker, gave more than a million dollars to build it and another million to equip it. "What sum do you have at your disposal for the purchase of books?" "A benefactor gives us $50,000 a year." Fifty thousand dollars a year for the purchase of books! I am filled with admiration.
