Eleanor Dickey, Maurice Dickey's daughter, has been elected to Phi Beta Kappa at Smith. She will receive her diploma this June, two weeks before her twentieth birthday.
Robert Dickey, Eleanor's brother, is working for the rest of the school year for the Fabrikoid Company in Ludlow, Mass. He returns to Dartmouth in the fall for his senior year.
Mot Sargeant's boy, Howland, is assistant manager of baseball at Dartmouth this year and will be manager next year. Howland has made Phi Beta Kappa.
On Friday, February 20, Allen Prescott of Maiden, Mass., married Miss Ruth Janet Moorhouse of Brookline, Mass., at the Little Church Around the Corner, New York city. The now Mrs. Prescott was May Queen at Linden Hall, Lititz, Pa., last year. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. George James Prescott, whose husband died in 1919. He graduates from M. I. T. in June this year. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Alfred D. Moorhouse of Brookline, Mass., and Sandwich, N. H.
Peddy Miller's daughter Gustova is with Brentano's in Washington, D. C. This location enables her to give Ped and his wife a real welcome on their visits to the capital. When they were there in March, they joined the Frank Staleys and Bill Colbert in a reunion with the Secretary's family in Chevy Chase.
In Alhambra Hall, Worcester, on March 30, eight hundred Knights of Columbus attended the communion breakfast which closed the annual three-day retreat of the Alhambra Council. Owen A. Hoban, assistant district attorney of Worcester county, was the principal speaker.
Harry A. Wason has been elected vicepresident of John A. Roebling's Sons. Harry and his wife expect to sell their beautiful new home in Atlanta, and are now living at 20.5 West Wacker Drive, Chicago. What between a business trip to Atlanta with an Easter holiday pick-up of his son Floyd at Sewanee and later business trips West, Harry just missed out on the big Dartmouth dinner in Chicago, including the pre-dinner '99 reunion with Charley Cushman, Walter Eastman, and Dan Ford in Cush's office.
