The Don Cossacks, the famous Russian male chorus, came to Hanover on the night of December 8, and sang before the largest house we have ever seen in Hanover. They were the first feature of the Dartmouth College Concert Series. They had a great reception, and deserved every bit of it, for they sang a program which couldn't fail to be enjoyed somehow by everyone present. We can't see as there's much more to say about them—except that we think that you ought to be jealous to know that we're getting this very swell series—which includes Lili Pons, Jose Iturbi, and others on it, all for the sum of five bucks—which is about the best bargain we've encountered in Hanover—although food prices are on their way to a new low— which is something which ought to have been done long since.
