Jake Edwards, Bob Miller, Henry Kraszewski and George Stangle were all members of the freshman team of last year which rolled through the season undefeated and averaged 42 points a game. Edwards, a Southbridge, Mass., boy, is a natural. He is a left handed player and seems to do well without effort. Stark calls him the greatest prospect to come up to the team since the days of Jimmy Picken. The other three players all have class, and are grouped in Team B which is definitely superior to Team A so far.
The real test will come with the league games, and Dartmouth will again find the going rough with a well-balanced group of teams. But on face and playing value, two of Dartmouth's winter sports, basketball and hockey, seem ready for a definite rise, and every now and then I find myself raving about next spring's baseball prospects, although this is hardly the time.
