In the issue for October 10 of Current Affairs, a weekly publication of the Boston Chamber of Commerce, is an article by C. M. Goddard entitled "How Fire Insurance Rates are Made," which is preceded by the following editorial note: "The following article is commended to the readers of Current Affairs as one of the clearest and most formative descriptions of the scheduling of fire insurance rates ever prepared. The author is one of the foremost authorities on fire insurance ratings in the country. He is a member of the executive committee and former president of the National 'Fire Protection Association."
