To the editors, congratulations. The new MAGAZINE is all that you said it would be.

As always after the summer's accumulation of news has been used and before comments with class dues begin to come in, we are faced with the problem of grasping news from thin air. . . . We rode to Boston with DICK WELCH last night on the Merchants'. He makes frequent trips to New York, marketing the product of his Newburyport shoe factory. . . . The BEARDLEY FOSTERS stopped in Boston this summer en route to Quebec. . . . AL FREY reports that several members visited Hanover this summer. . . . Chicago has so far failed to meet the challenge for news issued in the October column. . . . PAUL KAY, Boston insurance man, has recently moved to Belmont from Newton. ... It has been reported that WARRY CHAMBERLAIN is now with Conde Nast Publishing Company in New York.

Send Roc Elliott the news sheet you received with your bill for dues, and we'll do better next time.
