We just can't possibly seem to keep Pacifism out of this ebullition. The latest step on the campus in the direction of fostering international peace is the forming of a chapter of the Green International which sounds something like a Rotary Club, but isn't. To us the important thing about this society is the fact that all members are expected to wear green shirts to distinguish them from jingoistically inclined members of the College. Whether the members are going to wear one shirt all winter or whether they will be allowed an extra one to wear while their best one is at the laundry is bothering the College not a little. Inquiries have also been made as to whether or not the shirts are free; that is, whether a shirt automatically accompanies each membership. Many undergraduates of our acquaintance are on tenterhooks pending information on this subject. We hope, however, to get them off the tenterhooks by Christmas.
