As this article is written we are now concluding the most successful placement season ever seen at Tuck School. Interest on the part of corporations in our students has been extremely high and of course we are most gratified with this interest. Roughly, 200 companies visited Tuck this year and approximately 300 interview schedules were posted. It is, of course, too early to report on the number of job offers, employment opportunities accepted, etc., but the interviewers' comments regarding our second-year students have been most encouraging.
Some of you have expressed interest in the research activities of the Tuck faculty. We now have available copies of the faculty's research activities report for 1966. We would be happy to send you copies on request. The report not only lists activities completed in 1966 but also research. Projects begun in 1966 and still in progress.
We have had several letters from Professor Chuck Mayer, now in England, and Professor Len Morrissey, teaching at IMEDE in Switzerland. Both men are thoroughly enjoying their stays abroad. Apparently their public relations efforts for Tuck School have not gone unnoticed as we have received many applications from students from both countries.
Professor Fred Webster recently received a lengthy letter from Douglas Mac Donald T'66. Doug tells us that he has recently become engaged to Ginny Green, a girl whom he dated during his second year at Tuck. He recently had dinner in Philadelphia with Gary Rossell and Marc Passot, both Tuck '66. Gary is with Rhom and Haas and Marc with Gulf. Marc plans to return to France to work in Gulf's International Division after his training in orientation program is completed some time this summer. Doug further notes that John Raney T'66 is doing quite well at the lowa Law School. In addition to studying apparently John has become engaged and is playing a good deal of rugby. Jay Hartmann T'66 is presently going through OCS and Doug reports that he seems to like it.
