EINSTEIN, his theories and contributions to the field of science, will be discussed in the March issue by Dr. Walter S. Adams '98, director of the Mt. Wilson Observatory in Pasadena, Calif., and a noted astronomer. Professor Adams is writing for Dartmouth men the first published account of his friendship with Einstein and of the work they have done together at Mt. Wilson where the renowned German astronomer is spending several weeks this winter.

STIMULATED by Professor Ames' proposals Prof. Bruce W. Knight of the department of Economics is preparing an analysis of the causes of the depression and a suggestion of the controls which should be used to eliminate future maladjustments, as these appear to an economist. In line with the distinguished Ames'paper Professor Knight's article in the March issue will be constructive and thoroughly readable to the layman, but presenting a different point of view
