Blair was one of the speakers at the Dartmouth luncheon, held in accordance with the established custom, by the alumni who attended the meeting of the National Education Association, in Washington in February. A recent letter from Warden begins: "I had lunch with Henry Blair in Washington. We reviewed many things. It is a great pleasure to me when I can sit down and eat with an '89 man."

From items in newspapers it appears that Warden, chairman of the State Highway Commission of Montana, was in Washington in February, with the president of the Western Highway Association, the president of the American Association of State Highways, and representatives of other organizations which are working for highway improvements, to appear before the joint meeting of the committees of the House and the Senate on highway appropriations.
