Miss S. May Baker, sister of our classmate and daughter of John W. H. Baker '61, died at Oakland, Calif., Nov. 17, 1938. Her sister Miss Alice C. Baker, also of Oakland, survives.
Mrs. Edward S. Riley, whose husband was our classmate and whose sons are Charles S. '13 and Edward C. '16, died at Andover, Mass., Jan. 16, 1939.
"Doc" Warden and his wife were in New York recently and summoned "C. D." and "Sully" to lunch with them. Reporters were excluded, but it seems reasonable to believe that, in addition to other matters, plans and prospects for our reunion next June were discussed.
The Secretary records with pleasure the fact that during the past month he has received communications from ten classmates and has heard indirectly from five others. This is a far better than average record.
At the annual dinner of the Boston As- sociation, February 2, the Secretary was the sole representative of '89. He counted seven older than himself among the five hundred present, and three of these were of '76!
