The annual dinner of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Wisconsin was held on the evening of February 25 at the Hotel Schroeder in Milwaukee, with Dean Craven Laycock present. About 75 people attended, about half of them being Dartmouth alumni and the remainder parents of undergraduates and prospective Dartmouth entrants.
Leon Friedman Jr. '23 presided. Whitney Eastman '10 gave a short talk on the Selective System. Mr. Eastman has been chairman of this committee in Wisconsin since the inauguration of the present plan of admission. During that period he has sent 65 boys to Dartmouth, only one of whom failed to keep up in academic work.
Dean Laycock was at his very best and gave all those present an excellent idea of Dartmouth College. The meeting broke up at eleven o'clock after the Dean had satisfactorily answered a multitude of questions.
