CLASS OF 1890
JUNE 1932 Willis McDuffee

George B. Young went out to California in the early part of February to visit his son, John S. Young, Dartmouth class of '17, who is now the head of the firm of Young, Clarke, and Company, stockbrokers in Los Angeles, Cal. The son is married and has one daughter. After visiting him and traveling about somewhat in Southern California, George and Mrs. Young returned by the Panama Canal and had a very delightful trip.

Hardy wrote recently that he had just seen Hilton and spent a pleasant evening with him.

Robert Lincoln O'Brien, Dartmouth '91, formerly editor of the Boston Herald and now chairman of the United States tariff commission, and Mrs. O'Brien gave a dinner in Washington the evening of April 7. Among the guests were James B. Reynolds and Mrs. Reynolds.

The Secretary attended the annual meeting of the secretaries at Hanover May 6 and 7. It was a very pleasant occasion with a record attendance, a full report of which is given elsewhere in this issue. The Secretary saw no '90 men, but had an enjoyable visit with Junkins '87, Cate '88, Blakely '89, Richardson and Rowe '91, and Strong and Walter McDuffee of Springfield, '92.
