Editors' Appreciation

The editors of the MAGAZINE herewith express their appreciation to Carroll J. Swan, publisher of the Old Farmer's Almanac, for permission to use certain symbols and material appearing in the 1933 edition of that publication. The reproduction of century-old engravings from the Farmer's Almanac has assisted materially in composing Dr. Wheelock's Almanack which appears for the first time in this issue of the Dartmouth MAGAZINE.
