With the publication in this issue of the MAGAZINE of the President's annual address to the alumni at the Commencement Luncheon, his valedictory to the senior class, characterizations given to honorary degree recipients, and the several items relating to class reunions, and meetings of the Board of Trustees, the Alumni Council, and other alumni groups, a brief review of the 1933 Commencement is available to those alumni who were not in Hanover June 16-20. Favored with excellent weather conditions, the graduation exercises Tuesday morning were again held outdoors in the Bema, and the seniors inaugurated a plan for holding an outdoor Ball, which was this year staged in front of the new Tuck School.

The largest class in the history of the College was graduated, numbering 446. Attendance of parents and alumni during the week-end was higher than has been the case during the past few years. All classes ending in "3" and "8" held reunions, most of the members of these classes arriving in Hanover, Friday, June 16, to begin festivities.

President and Mrs. Hopkins received alumni, seniors, faculty, and guests at their home Monday evening, June 19, following the postponement of this reception from the preceding evening becasue of inclement weather.

A Double Anniversary At the June Commencement Lewis Parkhurst '7B celebrated his 55th class reunion. This year also marks his completion of 25 years on the Board of Trustees.
