Webster Collections

Through the gift by James D. Landauer '23, of two collections of Webster engravings and prints, the College has added valuable Websteriana to its already extensive possessions of this material. Mr. Landauer was assisted by his mother, Mrs. Bella Landauer, in collecting more than thirty rare prints illustrating various periods of Webster's life. These have come to the College in the form of two attractively framed panels. After the collection is exhibited in the Baker Library, it will be placed in Webster Hall where most of the portraits and engravings of Webster are now hung.
