Council Resolution

In reporting for the resolutions committee of the Alumni Council at the meeting of the Council in New York November 10, J. R. Burleigh '14 presented a statement of regret for the loss of Joe Gilman '05 and of appreciation of his services in various alumni activities of the College. The resolution follows:

RESOLVED: That the Council express itssorrow in the death of Joseph TaylorGilman 'O5. A tireless worker in behalfof all that is Dartmouth, his passing isa distinct loss to the College. His wisecounsel in matters of Dartmouth athletics, and especially in the interest of intercollegiate athletic relationships, willbe sorely missed. A splendid Dartmouthman and loyal friend has left us. Wetender our deepest sympathy to hisfamily.
