I have just received a copy of the program for the Day of Dedication of Christ Church by the Sea at Newport-Balboa, Calif. This connects up with the class of '92 by the fact that Ralph Cox was one of the building committee. From the pictures and plans in the program, it looks as if Cox and his associates had produced a very attractive building. The only thing I couldn't find was a map which would show me the relation of Newport-Balboa with Long Beach, which still seems to be Cox's address. You will know where to spend Sunday in case you are in this section of California.
As I write this, Alex and Mrs. Salinger are on their way to Altamonte, Fla., for a month of rest and recreation. By the time "you read this, they will be back in their home in Newtonville and suffering from the New England climate as many of you will be.
