"Hang on to your hats, boys, here we go again," and if you haven't heard that one we will tell it to you at the Tenth if you remind us. Mail still seems to be scarcer than hen's teeth around these parts, so the only part of this abbreviated column which isn't just plain hearsay or a fiction of imagination is the first item.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. "Chuck" Brewster announce the arrival of Miss Deborah Brewster, born March 26, 1933.

Gus Cummings has recently returned from a business trip to New York, and reports that while there he had the pleasure of calling on both Josh Davis and Ken Ballantyne. Gus spent considerable time with Josh discussing the Alumni Fund drive, which is about to get under way. This year Gus had divided the country up into territories and is asking some class member to help him in each district. If each of the district agents will co-operate earnestly we will have much more personal contact in the soliciting, with the result that our class will again show a great improvement in its standing. Our class agent is giving this a great deal of thought and effort, and certainly deserves our co-operation.

Phil Fowler recently broke into the limelight as a Thespian of no mean ability, playing a leading role in "Hawk Island," the spring production of the Brookline amateurs.

We recently heard indirectly that Bill North, who is now out in Los Angeles, was driving through Long Beach when the earthquake struck. He had some very interesting and rather exciting experiences during it, and we hope to have a letter giving more of the details for the next issue of this MAGAZINE.
