A 1907 Sons Dinner was held in Hanover on May 15, just too late to be reported in the June MAGAZINE. Gardner Cushman '35. Louville Niles '35, Bill Wyman '36, and four freshmen—Bob Heneage, Ed Temple, Blake, and Garvin—attended the dinner. McCann, Redington, Sandy, Minsch, and Martin were unable to be present. Dick Southgate, Harry Wellman, and Rip Heneage represented the class and report that the sons seemed to enjoy the party.

An unverified report reached the Secretary before the end of the school year that Bishop Niles' daughter has won a new scholastic honor. Perhaps Bishop will tell us just what it was.

Ancient history perhaps, but Bob Heneage was captain of the freshman golf team last spring.

Julia, fourteen-year-old daughter of E. L. Ashley, won two prizes for spelling in the Winthrop Junior High School, and later competed at the Boston Garden in a contest in which 10,000 spellers took part. The father was pretty proud.

A fine letter from Cliff Norris received in June is full of interest. His oldest son graduated from General Motors Institute in September, 1933, and is now working in the Chevrolet plant in Flint, Mich. The next boy is specializing in chemistry at Massachusetts State College and hopes to teach it after graduation. The youngest boy entered business after completing his high school course. Cliff is cashier for the Blackstone Mutual Fire Insurance Company, Providence, R. 1., where he has been since 1910. He reports seeing Tim Richards and Lew Gerry occasionally.

Bill Minsch wrote me in June that he had a most enjoyable day in Hanover just before Commencement.

Allan Brown was in the midst of preparations for the fourth year of his summer camp for six- to ten-year-old boys when I received a note from him. Locust Farm Camp is a quarter of a mile off Route 4 at Halcyon, N. H., railroad station. Classmates, Allan says, are always welcome, especially in spring and fall. His daughter had just graduated from Mt. Holyoke with honors.

I have had brief notes from many classmates during the summer months, but not much news about them. Rip Heneage wrote me briefly and later called on me. His boy, Dick, enters college this fall. Others from whom I have heard are Ted Glattfeld, Jonathan Piper, Bill Jennings, Bill Cummings, Bob Stokes, and Morris Smith. Sam Barnes hopes to come East this fall, and Jack Hammond, who has been in England for a year or two, is back in New York at 4547 Livingston Ave., Riverdale, N. Y. He is assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at New York University and is practicing pediatrics in New York City. His daughter, Patricia Southworth, is four years old, and his son, Frank Meara, is one and a half years old.

The death of Frank Braun was reported in the Boston Herald on August 29. His father is Gus Braun of our class.
