Basketball

Dolly Stark opened another basketball season on November 7, when the Green court squad reported for its initial drill. Coach Stark is also feeling the pinch of graduation, Stangle, Edwards, Kraszewski and Miller having gone the way of all seniors. Of last year's starting team, only Captain Al Bonniwell remains to carry on. The basketball situation is parallel to that in hockey, with one brilliant individual available as the core of an entirely new unit. Among those who saw some service last year and have returned to the squad are Sid Krivitsky, Wiley Hubbell, Jack Davis, Jim Dickinson, Fred Croninger, John McKernan, and Paul Cleveland. The sophomore material which Chick Evans has sent up to the varsity includes Ratajczak, Conti, Shea, and Whitaker.
