FUMBLES HALT ATTACK

The second half found Dartmouth using desperate measures, but Cornell was alert in defending against passes, and four fumbles also halted the Green attack. With about three minutes of play remaining, Switzer intercepted one of Chamberlain's tosses and sped 45 yards down the sideline for Cornell's third tally. Stofer converted for the third time, and the final score became 21 to 6.

Only the Princeton game now remains to be played, and an upsetting of the Tiger applecart would make this first season of the Blaik regime a different story. Whatever happens in Jungletown, it is pretty certain that at some point Earl Blaik and Fritz Crisler will get together and agree that the first year is certainly the hardest.
