Mrs. H. W. Felker and her son (Dartmouth 1931) join in wishing good health and fortune to the class of 1883, her husband's class.
Mrs. Edmund Brown, formerly Mrs. Win. R. Conant, now resides in Norfolk, Conn. Her son, Louis Cowles Conant (Dartmouth 1926), is now an instructor in geology at Cornell University, where he received his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees.
Mrs. Iva Worcester, whose husband, Charles F. Worcester, graduated with our class, writes from 12 Wellesley Ave., Wellesley, Mass., that she will always appreciate any news of '83. Her daughter Jane (Smith 1931) is employed in the vital statistics department at Harvard.
F. B. Norris, Pittsburg, Calif., sends thanks for the class report and calls it evidence of a lot of patience and good work. Prof. John Pickard likewise appreciated the report, but wished the members had been less modest along biographical lines. He would like to learn more about their activities.
Ernest B. Balch and Deo Datus Baldwin both expressed pleasure in learning the addresses of forriier classmates but wished more details had been given by them in their letters.
At the recent annual town meeting in Hartford, Vt., Alfred E. Watson was reelected school director for three years and had his fortieth successive election as moderator. After an effort of three years, a favorable vote was secured for a high school addition to cost $40,000 and a gymnasium to cost $20,000.
