Men's ice hockey coach Brian Mason says even though his team won just two games last year, the chances are good for marked improvement this winter. Part of that optimism comes with the return of 17 letter winners who, Mason said, "are ready to emerge as consistent goal scorers." Besides, last year wasn't all that bleak, Mason points out—Dartmouth lost eight of its games by just one point, and five others by only two points. "The team played well, but did not score well," Mason said.
And who are the teams to beat this year? St. Lawrence, Clarkson, Colgate, Harvard, and RPI top the list.
