In a recent visit to Amherst, Mass., the Secretary called on George Farley. Although our classmate has lost his eyesight, yet he has not lost his courage or initiative, for recently he represented his organization in Chicago and is a speaker in demand at banquets of the 4-H Club, of which he is a leader. While calling on him, George showed me a unique letter written in longhand from our old professor of astronomy, Edwin Frost, who was spending the winter in Florida.

E. M. Gleason, who has been principal of the high school in Ayer for more than twenty years, has recently moved into one of the most attractive houses in Ayer. It certainly was a pleasure to see how much enjoyment the new home gave to the Gleason family.

Buck Chandler was good enough to write the notice in another column about the passing of Bob Marden, beloved by every '98 man from the time he first became known to us.

The Secretary is very sorry to report no improvement in the condition of Harry Goodall.

The Secretary is a bit short of news this month, and is in hopes that for next month the classmates will send in anything of a news character.

Bill Witte reports a very pleasant trip to the Pacific Coast, where he had a good visit with Fletcher Harper Swift.
