We are in receipt of the following from Doug and Mrs. VanderHoof:

"Greetings from South Africa. Mrs. VanderHoof and I sailed from New York themiddle of January, on this delightfulcruise. Went through the Mediterranean, had a glorious week in Egypt, then downthe east coast of Africa, taking in Zanzibar,Madagascar, etc. At Durban we left theship for a 3200-mile journey into the interior, going up to Victoria Falls, truly oneof the wonders of the world. Then rejoined the ship at Cape Town, and sailtonight for South American, going toBuenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, and upthrough the West Indies, reaching homeabout the last of April. I have been tremendously impressed with South Africa. It has its problems, but also a great future."

Another announcement: Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Gilmore announce the engagement of their daughter Jane to Mr. Jaywood Lukens of South Orange, N. J. The wedding to take place this summer.

"Louie" Crone says "Sonny" Crone is a father, a son born in January, so "Louie" now becomes a regular member of the Grandfathers' Club, of which we used to hear so much about a few years ago, when Goochie was passing out the bunches of bananas to all the successful initiates.
