Mrs. Laura Lord Scales, warden of Smith College, addressed the members of the twenty-fourth annual Alumnae Council, held at Northampton, February 26, on the subject "The Benefits of Living in a College Community."

Eddie and Katherine Gibbons have been enjoying the month of February down in the Florida warmth and sunshine.

The annual alumni dinner of the Boston Association was held at the Copley Plaza Hotel, February 9, and the class was well represented. Hoppy graced the head table as usual, and the large attendance listened to his speech with the utmost attention. Seated around the '01 table were Chan Cox, Bob Leavens, Zeus Marshall, Charlie Whelan, Terry McGovern, Steve Stevens, T. Wood, Jim Smith, Ned Calderwood, Arthur Sampson, and George French.

Jim Higgins' funeral was held at St. Monica's church, Barre, Vt., February 14. and Ned Warren, Homer Ladd, Dolph Lane, and Steve Stevens were in attendance as representatives of the class.
