D. O. C. Announces Gift of New House at Moosilauke

Through the generosity of six prominent alumni there will be a new house at Moosilauke by the end of this summer. This thrilling announcement is made by D. P. Hatch '28, comptroller of the Outing Club and originator and moving spirit in the Dartmouth-at-Moosilauke movement.

The present quarters have served their purpose well but better accommodations are necessary for alumni and their friends who want more comforts and greater privacy. Then too the fire hazard is greatly reduced by two houses instead of one. The dining room, kitchen, and crew quarters will be retained in the old camp with about the same amount of bunking space, while the new quarters will have smaller rooms with improved toilet facilities and a fine basement for ski waxing, a drying-room, and work-shop.

The construction of the new house will no doubt be done by student labor under the supervision of Ford Sayre '33 and a competent foreman.
