Dartmouth's In Town Again

DARTMOUTH-IN-NEW-YORK. at the time this is being written, is just barely beginning to snap out of its summer doldrums; football schedules in the daily papers and freshmen-to-be in search of advice are reminding the 3500 odd Dartmouth men in the Metropolitan Area that they used to go to college up in New Hampshire, and they are beginning to crawl out of the cool caves they had hidden in during the blazing summer months, kicking stray beer cans out of the way as they emerge. The Club is coming slowly to life, class dinners are being organized, and alumni in general are studying the pre-season football dope with a vague feeling that something seems to be missing this fall. They will find this to be the Yale Jinx, and they will not, we are afraid, be completely happy until some substitute is provided.
